관계사절 상승/비상승 분석의 비교연구

The purpose of this paper is to point out the problems of the Raising Analysis suggested by Caterina Donati and Carlo Cecchetto(2011) comparing the Raising Analysis with the Non-Raising Analysis. Caterina Donati and Carlo Cecchetto suggested that relative clauses should be analysed by the Head Raising Analysis, proposing Relabeling Theory. In addition, they insist that complement clauses can be merged late like adjunct clauses. However, there are examples which can’t be explained with the Raising Analysis. In this paper, I argue that the Raising Analysis still has problems in analysing relative clauses and that the Non-Raising Analysis can account for the problem faced by the Raising Analysis.
