노인복지시설 종사자들의 재난안전인식과 안전문화가 기관안전도에 미치는 영향

Effects of Disaster Safety Awareness and Safety Culture on the Safety of Welfare Facilities for the Elderly

본 연구는 노인복지시설 종사자들의 재난안전인식과 그 조직의 안전문화가 시설의 안전도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 부산광역시에 소재한 노인복지시설 종사자를 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 분석결과 안전문화는 시설의 안전도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나 재난안전인식은 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 노인복지시설의 안전도를 증진시키기 위해서는 종사자 개인의 인식을 높이는 것보다 조직 차원의 안전문화를 정착시키는 것이 더욱 중요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of disaster safety awareness among employees and institutional safety culture on the safety of welfare facilities for the elderly. A questionnaire survey was conducted with employees of such facilities in Busan. Results of the analysis demonstrated that safety culture has a significant effect on the safety of the facilities, but disaster safety awareness did not have a significant effect. These results implied that to improve the safety of welfare facilities for the elderly, developing a safety culture is more important than changing individual awareness.
