취약집단 청소년을 위한 진로교육 사례: A지역의 생활밀착형 관계 중심의 단계 모형

A case study of career education for disadvantaged youths: step-by-step career education model based on everyday life relationship of ‘A’ community

이 연구의 목적은 취약집단 청소년을 위한 진로교육 모형을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 대도시 A지역의 실천에 대한 질적 사례연구를 수행하였다. 연구 결과 취약 집단 청소년을 위한 진로교육에 참조할 수 있는 ‘생활밀착형 관계 중심의 단계 모형’을 도출하였다. 이 모형에서 핵심 가치는 1) 삶: 잘 사는 삶에 대한 비전이라는 큰 틀에서 진로 모색, 2) 생활: 생산 뿐 아니라 소비와 여가 활동까지 함께 고려, 3) 관계:역할모델, 긍정적 자극, 지속적 거울이 되어 줄 수 있는 탄탄한 관계 구축으로 도출된다. 기르고자 하는 역량으로는 1) 자기존중 역량, 2) 자기성찰 역량, 3) 합리적 의사소통 역량, 4) 기본학습 역량, 5) 직업특수역량이 도출된다. 학생들마다 진로교육을 위한 준비도가 다르기에 프로그램의 단계별 조직화가 필요한데 가장 기초가 되는 단계로 1) 통합 지원, 이후 단계로 2) 자기 긍정, 3) 공동체 참여를 통해서 4) 학습으로 인도하고 5) 직업을 탐색하도록 하는 모형이 도출되었다. 이 모형은 1) 생활밀착형 관계 속에서의 진로지도이고, 2) 마을에서 돌봄과 결합된 진로 멘토링이라는 점에서 함의를 갖는다.

This study was conducted as a qualitative case study to explore the model of career education for disadvantaged youths. It has found a ‘step-by-step career education model based on everyday life relationship’ through the analysis of a local practice case in ‘A’ community. The key values in this model are 1) Life : searching for a career in the larger framework of vision for a good life, 2) Living : considering not only for production but also for consumption and leisure activities, 3) Relationship : building the relationship which can be a role model, positive stimulus, and a lasting mirror. The competences to be developed are 1) self-respecting competence, 2) self-reflection competence, 3) rational communication skills, 4) basic learning capability, 5) vocational-specific skills. As students are different stages of preparation for career education, it is necessary to organize the programs in stages such as 1) integrated support 2) self-positive attitude 3) learning 4) job searching. This model has implications in that 1) it is a career guide in close relationships and 2) it is a career mentoring combined with care in the village
