유아 숲놀이성이 인성 및 또래 유능성 미치는 영향

Influence of Forest Playfulness on Personality and Peer Competency in Preschoolers

본 연구는 유아 숲놀이성이 인성 및 또래 유능성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 유아의 인성 능력과 또래 유능성을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안으로 숲놀이성이 효과가 있음을 밝히고자 한다. 본 연구의 연구대상은 B광역시에 소재하고 있는 유치원 14곳과 어린이집 27곳에서 근무하고 있는 만 3세∼5세 담임교사를 대상으로 2017년 12월 2주∼2017년 12월 4주까지 총 410부의 설문지를 배부하였고, 2018년 1월 1주∼2018년 1월 4주까지 총 403부(98%) 회수 되었다. 유아의 숲놀이성, 인성, 또래 유능성 척도 검사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 t-검증, 일원분산분석, 적률상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아 숲놀이성은 인성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 하위변인 중에서 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현이 인성에 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 유아 숲놀이성은 또래 유능성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 하위변인 중에서 사회적 자발성과 인지적 자발성이 인성에 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구 결과는 유아 숲놀이성이 성장기 유아들에게 중요한 활동으로써 유아교육 현장에서 유아의 인성과 또래 유능성 향상을 개발을 위한 연구의 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다.

The purpose of this study was to explore effects of the playfulness on character and peer competency among preschoolers aged between 3 and 5. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, concerning the relationships of the forest playfulness, character and peer competency of the preschoolers, the variables were closely linked to each other. As to the correlation of the subvariables, the subvariables were highly correlated with each other as well. Second, as a result of analyzing the impact of the forest playfulness of the preschoolers on character, their forest playfulness exerted a 47% influence on character. Third, as a result of analyzing the impact of the forest playfulness of the preschoolers on peer competency, their forest playfulness exerted a 54% influence on peer competency. The forest playfulness of the preschoolers also was effective at improving character and peer competency. Therefore the findings of the study suggest that forest playfulness can widely be utilized in early childhood education as one of activities that are important for preschoolers in the growth period.
