교과 교육과정에 대한 중등 영어 교사들의 이해와 실행 경험에 대한 연구

Secondary school english Teachers’ Understanding and Implementation experience in the Subject Curriculum: Focusing on Content table and Achievement standards.

본 연구는 국가 교육과정에 대한 교사들의 이해와 실행 경험을 토대로 국가 교육과정 문서의 개선과제를 밝히고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2017년 4월부터 12월까지 네 명의 중등 영어교사들의 경험을 심층탐구 하였다. 영어과 교육과정에서 제시하는 내 용체계표와 성취기준에 대한 교사들의 이해와 실행 경험을 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과 교육과정의 내용체계표에 대한 이해는 ‘교육의 이정표’, ‘교과서의 요약본’으로 분석되었고, 성취기준에 대한 이해는 ‘평가중심의 성취기준’, ‘문장이 길고 양이 많은 성취기준’, ‘영어 의사소통을 강조하는 성취기준’으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 교과 교육과정의 내용체계표에 대한 실행 경험은 ‘기본 내용 확인’이며, 성취기준의 실행 경험은 ‘수업과 평가의 통제’, ‘교육내용, 학습활동 구성을 위한 저울’, ‘평가문항의 다양화’로 분석되었다. 셋째, 교사들의 인식에 기초한 향후 교과 교육과정의 개선과 제는 ‘교과 특성을 반영한 교육과정 마련’, ‘교육과정에 대한 공감형성’, ‘교육과정 활용 연수 확대’로 분석되었다. 이러한 논의들을 바탕으로 국가 교육과정에 대한 교사들의 이해와 실행 경험이 확대될 수 있는 방안의 탐색이 필요함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the quality of understanding and implementation for teachers implementing in the Subject curriculum. To achieve this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with 4 participants. The results of the study are as follows. First, teachers understood the content table as education milestones and textbook summary. An understanding of achievement standards of the teacher is ‘The criterion of the center of evaluation’, ‘The achievement standards that the sentence is long and the amount is large’, ‘The achievement standards that emphasizes communication in English’. Second, teachers used the contents table to confirm the basic contents. The experience of implementing the achievement standards of the teacher is ‘Control of class and evaluation’, ‘Scale for composition of education, composition of learning activities’, ‘Diversification of evaluation questions’. Third, improvement subjects of the future curriculum based on the teacher s perception are ‘Establishing educational curriculum reflecting the characteristics of the subject’, ‘Empathy of curriculum’, ‘Expansion of teacher training of curriculum’.
