김정은시대 북한 민족주의: 담론·문화·정책

North Korean Nationalism in the Era of Kim Jong-un : Discourse· Policy·Culture

이 연구는 담론과 문화와 정책 차원에서 김정은시대 북한 민족주의가 어떻게 변용되어가고 있는지 그 실태규명을 목적으로 하고 있다. 김정은정권에 있어서도 민족주의의 효용성은 여전히 유용한 것으로 보인다. 혁명 3세대 지도자인 김정은에게 민족지상의 규범론이 아닌 국익에 근거한 실용주의로 접근하고 있지만, 여전히 민족의 이미지와 민족소속감을 주입함으로써 주민들을 국가에 결속시키고 있다. 민족정 책에 있어서 김정은은 철저히 국익에 근거하여 민족주의를 활용하고 있다. 김정은은 북핵문제로 인해 촉발된 대북제제 해소와 북미관계 정상화를 위한 프로세스를 민족화해와 민족공조의 프레임으로 접근해나 가고 있다. 한반도에서의 핵전쟁 불사를 언급하던 김정은정권은 이제 민족의 화해협력과‘ 우리민족끼리’를 강조하고 있다. 그리고 이 과정 에서 북한사회에서 민족주의 담론이 다시 부각되고 있다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how North Korean nationalism is being transformed during the Kim Jong-un Era in terms of discourse, culture, and policy. The utility of nationalism in the Kim Jong En regime seems to be still useful. Although Kim Jong un, the leader of the revolutionary third generation, is approaching pragmatism based on state interest rather than norms of the national centrism, he still binds the people to the state by injecting the image of the nation and the sense of national belonging. In national policy, Kim Jong-un is using nationalism thoroughly based on national interest. Kim Jong-un is approaching the process of national reconciliation and national cooperation in resolving the North Korean nuclear issue and normalizing relations with North Korea triggered by the North Korean nuclear issue. The Kim Jong-un regime, which referred to the nuclear war on the Korean peninsula, now emphasizes the reconciliation of the Korean people and the Uriminzokkiri(Our Nation) . In this process, the discourse of nationalism is being highlighted again in North Korean society
