제16차 세계피해자학회 심포지엄에서의 논의와 그 시사점

A study on Issues and Implications of the 16th World Society of Victimology

The 16th International Symposium of the World Society of Victimology 2018 was held in Hong Kong from June 10 to 14, 2018. In this symposium, The main-theme was “Victims and Victimization: Moving Towards an International Victimology”. And 21 sub-themes followed. About 300 persons participated from all over the world and more than 200 papers are presented. Various victim support researches of each country were introduced through 5 times plenary sessions and 6 times concurrent sessions. The Authors who attended the symposium on behalf of Korean National Police Agency offer 3 implications. First, The importance of training police officers related into the protection of crime victims. Second, The necessity of activating international exchange of victimology. Third, The necessity of constructing cooperative system between NGO and Police.
