유아 놀이성과 인성 발달 관계에서 교사-유아 상호작용의 매개효과 분석

The Analysis on the Mediating Effects of Teacher-Young Children Interaction on the Relation between Playfulness and Character Development of Young Children

본 연구는 유아를 대상으로 유아의 놀이성과 인성발달 관계에서 교사-유아 상호작용의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적을 두고 제주시에 소재한 만5세 유아 264명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 2018년 7월 2일부터 13일까지 2주간에 걸쳐 설문조사를 수행하였다. 수집된 설문 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였고, 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 유아의 놀이성과 교사-유아 상호작용, 유아 인성발달 간에는 유의한 관련성이 나타났고, 유아의 놀이성과 교사-유아 상호작용은 유아 인성 발달에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아 놀이성과 인성발달 관계에서 교사-유아 간 정서적 및 행동적 상호작용의 부분매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 유아의 건강하고 긍정적인 인성 발달을 함양하기 위해 유아교육기 관은 유치원 내 다양한 놀이 활동을 제공하고 유아교사는 정서적 및 행동적 상호작용을 지속적이고 체계적으로 개입하는 방안을 적극적으로 검토해야 할 것이다.

Aiming to verify the medicating effects of teacher-young children interaction on the relation between playfulness and character development of young children, this study conducted a survey targeting 264 young children in five-year old in Jeju-si for two weeks from July 2nd to 13th 2018. The collected survey data was analyzed by using the SPSS Program, and the results of this study are as follows. First, there were significant relations among young children s playfulness, teacher-young children interaction, and young children s character development, and young children s playfulness and teacher-young children interaction had positive effects on the character development of young children. Second, the partial mediating effects of emotional & behavioral teacher-young children interaction on the relation between playfulness and character development of young children were significant. Therefore, in order to cultivate the healthy and positive character development of young children, the educational institutes for young children should provide diverse play activities in kindergartens, and the early childhood teachers should also actively review the measures for continuously and systematically intervening in the emotional & behavioral interactions.
