<SNU 팩트체크>를 활용한 뉴스 팩트체킹: 미디어 리터러시 가능성에 관하여

News Fact Checking using <SNU Fact Check>: On the Possibility of Media Literacy

SNU 팩트체크>를 기준으로 지난 2018년 1월부터 3월 동안 총 212건의 팩트체크 보도 중 방송사가 68(32.08%)건 으로 가장 많은 뉴스를 보도한 것으로 나타났다. 가장 많이 보도된 섹션은 정치 섹션으로 전체의 36.79%(78건)를 차지했 다. 판정의 대부분은 ‘전혀 사실 아님’이 80건(37.74%)으로 가장 많았다. 본 연구 결과 국내 팩트체크 뉴스는 잘못된 정치 사실을 바로 잡는 뉴스가 많은 것으로 분석됐다. 따라서 국내 팩트체크 뉴스는 언론의 비판적 보도 기능을 잘 이행하고 있기에 미디어 리터러시 연구 대상으로 좋은 사례가 될 것으로 분석됐다.

According to study of <SNU Fact Check>, the broadcasting company reported the most news with 68 (32.08%) out of 212 cases from January to March of 2018. The most frequently reported section was politics, accounting for 36.79% (78 cases). 80 cases (37.74%) were the most common cases of ‘not at all true.’ According to the main study, there is a lot of news that can correct wrong political facts. Therefore, it is analyzed that the fact check news in Korea will be a good example for the media Litter Rush research as it is performing the critical reporting function well.
