An Exploratory Study on the Formation of Human Relationship in School : Focusing on the Movie

본 연구는 학교 내 교사-학생 간 관계에 초점을 맞추어 인간관계의 형성에 대한 시론적 고찰을 목적으로 한다. 이에 여러 문헌과 선행연구들을 분석하여 본질적으로 인간과 인간관계가 무엇인지를 파악하고, 학교 내 인간관계 형성 과정을 시론적으로 논하였다. 또한, 학교 내 인간관계의 모습을 “선생 김봉두”라는 영화를 매개로 하여 설명하였다. 인간은 태생적으로 관계의 단절을 염려하고 갈망하는 본능을 지닌 사회적 존재로서 상호 간의 관계가 필연적인 존재이다. 인간관계는 상호 의존성이 전제된 타인과의 상호작용으로서, 인간관계문제의 근본 원인은 사랑의 욕구에서 비롯되므로 진정한 인간관계인 사랑하는 관계를 지향해야 한다. 사랑하는 관계는 외적인 부분에 대한 관심에서 내면의 중심부를 향한 관심으로 설명될 수 있다. 사랑하는 관계의 형성 과정을 설명하는 틀로서 관심(Concern), 소통(Communication), 이해(Comprehension), 배려(Consideration), 사랑(Charity)으로 구분·제시하였으며, 이를 5C로 명명하였다. 5C를 ‘선생 김봉두’에 적용하여 학교 내 인간관계의 양상을 살펴 본 결과, 관심-소통-이해-배려-사랑의 단계가 영화의 시간적인 흐름 속에서 나타났다. 이는 5C가 인간관계를 형성시켜 나가는데 적절한 틀로서 기능할 수 있음을 나타내는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 이에 5C에서 설명하는 관심-소통-이해-배려-사랑의 과정을 충실히 이행하여 보다 나은 인간관계를 형성하고 개선하는 것은 학교조직 내 인간관계를 떠나 모든 인간관계에 중요한 시사점을 제공한다고 볼 수 있다.

The purpose of this exploratory study was to investigate the formation of human relationship focusing on relations between teachers and students in school. In this paper, we analyze various literature and previous researches to understand what human - human relationship is in essence, and discuss the process of human relationship formation in school. In addition, we explain the human relationship in the school through the movie Teacher Kim Bong Doo . Human beings are sociable beings with an instinct to crave and desire to break relationship in their birth, and mutual relations are inevitable. Human relations are interactions with others who are presumed to be interdependent, and the root cause of the human relations problem is derived from the desire for Charity, so it should aim for a Charity relationship that is a authentic human relationship. A Charity relationship can be explained by a concern in the external part and an concern toward the inner center. The framework that describes the formation process is the Concern, Communication, Comprehension, and Consideration, and Charity. And it was named as 5C. As a result of applying the 5C to the teacher Kim Bong - do , the phase of the relationship of Concern-Communication-Comprehension-Consideration-Charity appeared in the temporal flow of the movie. This can be interpreted as showing that 5C can function as an appropriate frame to form human relationships. Therefore, it can be seen that fulfilling the process of Concern, Communication, Comprehension, and Consideration, and Charity described in the 5C to form and improve better human relationships provides important implications for all human relations.
