패스트푸드점의 무인주문시스템에 대한 시각적 연구

A Study on the Visual of Self-Service Ordering System in Fast Food Restaurant

셀프서비스 주문시스템은 빠르게 성장하고 있다. 최근 인건비의 상승으로 인하여 외식업계는 인건비 절감을 위한 노력을 많이 하고 있다. 인건비 인상의 대안으로 무인주문시스템이 대안으로 여겨지고 있다. 패스트푸드업계는 무인주문시스템을 이용하기 적합한 영업형태이고, 본 연구에서는 맥도널드, KFC, 버거킹, 롯데리아, 맘스터치 이상 5개 업체를 선정하였다. 무인주문시스템은 키오스크인 무인결제기의 하위개념이 된다. 무인주문시스템의 화면은 LCD터치스크린으로 구성되었는데, 제어부, 결제부, 출력부로 구성되어 있다. 이 연구는 패스트푸드 업체의 무인주문시스템의 디자인적 분석, 색상별 분석, 타이포그래픽 분석, 그래픽화면 절차분석, 레이아웃분석 등을 실시하였다. 디자인적으로는 브랜드의 로고와 메뉴가 많이 사용되고, 색상별로는 브랜드가 추구하는 색상과 브랜드 심벌의 색이 많이 사용되었다. 메인화면의 화면배색은 콘트라스트 대비형, 컬러엑센트 강조형, 톤인톤 단순형이 사용되었다. 타이포그래픽은 주로 고딕체와 명조체가 많이 사용되었으나 강조하고 싶은 문구는 그래픽을 만들어 사용하기도 한다. 페이지의 구성은 메인메뉴에는 세트메뉴가 구성되어있고 하부 카테고리로는 알라까뜨르메뉴, 사이드, 음료 등으로 구성되어 있다. 전체적인 스크린의 레이아웃은 수평형이 많았고, 세부메뉴는 수직·수평형이 많이 사용되었다.

Self-Service ordering system is rapidly increasing in the overall industry. Recently, payroll costs are rising in many restaurants. Restaurant industry need to cut down personnel expenses. As an alternative counterplan of labor cost, a self-service ordering system is a great solution. Fast food restaurants are suitable for the system and selected brands for this study are McDonald, KFC, Burger King, Lotteria and Mom’s Touch. The self-service ordering system is in the lower rank of Kiosk. The system consists of LCD touch screen, control system, payment system and output system. This study analyzes design, color, typography, graphic screen and layout of the self-service ordering system. As a result, the main image represents menu and company logo with an emphasis color regarding the design. The main screen color styling uses the contrast color, color accent and tone-in-tone solid color. Lettering of the ordering system uses ‘Gothic font’ or ‘Ming-style.’ Some letterings use graphic type. Screens of the self-service ordering system are layer style. Main page shows main set menu when the next page consists of a la carte menu, side menu, beverage, etc. The screen layout includes vertical, horizontal, vertical & horizontal and radial structure.
