This study focuses on the distinctive part from the previous studies, which identifies if there’s an intervention relationship between technology innovation activity and absorptive capacity of qualitative and quantitative business Performances in the relationship of the internal major activity that incudes such as technology Strategy, technology research, and open innovation, etc. and absorptive Capacity that utilizes external source and information in this present competing relationship, through small and medium-sized business to advance and enter into the new technology market. And this study set up the SEM, or structural equation model, and analyzed the data results from the questionnaire survey which targeted the small and medium-sized business workers for the analysis of actual proof. As a result of this study, the absorptive Capacity is needed in a small and medium-sized business to conduct a successful technology innovation. As it was proven in the result of this study, it is very clear that since technology changes constantly and speedily, a business cannot be advanced if it depends only on the currently possessed technology. Therefore, it is necessary to be diligent in obtaining new knowledge from not only internal but external source to ensure competitiveness of a business. I encourage for a business to inter join knowledge and technology that a business has already developed with knowledge and technology that the business has acquired from other source.
