어머니의 온정적 양육 및 통제적 양육과 아동의 집행기능 곤란이 초등학교 1학년 아동의 학교적응에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Mother s Warmth Parenting, Control Parenting and Child Executive Function Difficulty on the School Adjustment in the First Grade

본 연구는 어머니의 온정적 양육 및 통제적 양육이 초등학교 학년 아동의 학교적응에 미치는 직접적 영향을 비롯하여 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 통한 간접적 영향을 살펴보는 것을 연구목적으로 한다 본 연구는 한국아동패널 차년도 조사에 참여한 초등학교 학년 아동 명 남아 명 여아 명 과 아동의 어머니 초등학교의 담임교사를 연구대상으로 하였다 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계 상관관계 분석을 실시하였고 프로그램을 이용하여 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하였다 본 연구의 주요결과 를 살펴보면 다음과 같다 첫째 어머니의 온정적 양육은 아동의 집행기능 곤란에 직접적인 영향을 미치지만 통제적 양육은 아동의 집행기능 곤란에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다 둘째 아동의 집행기능 곤란은 아동의 학교적응 중 학교생활적응 학업수행적응 또래적응에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 셋째 어머니의 온정적 양육은 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 거쳐 아동의 학교적응 중학교생활적응에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 넷째 어머니의 통제적 양육은 아동의 학교적응 중 학업수행적응에 직접적인 영향을 미치지만 온정적 양육은 집행기능 곤란을 거쳐 아동의 학업수행적응에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 다섯째 어머니의 온정적 양육은 아동의 집행기능 곤란을 거쳐 아동의 학교적응 중 또래적응에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다 본 연구는 아동의 학교적응 즉 학교생활적응 학업수행적응 또래적응에 어머니의 온정적 양육 및 통제적 양육방식과 아동의 집행기능 곤란이 중요한 영향을 미친다는 근거를 제시함으로써 학령기 초기 학교적응을 돕기 위한 부모교육의 기초자료를 마련하였다는 데에 의의를 가진다

This study examined the effects of mother s warmth parenting, control parenting, and child executive function difficulty on the school adjustment of early school-age children. The participants were 1,012 first graders from elementary school(515 boys, 497 girls) and their mothers and teachers taken from the 8th year of the Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC). For this purpose, a structural equation model was created and examined the goodness of fit of the model using the RMSEA, SRMR, TLI, and CFI. The results of this study were as following. First, mother s warmth parenting had a direct effect on the children s executive function difficulty. Second, children s executive function difficulty had a direct effect on the children s school life adjustment, academic performance adjustment, peer relationship adjustment, teacher relationship adjustment. Third, mother s warmth parenting had a indirect effect on the children s school life adjustment through executive function difficulty. Fourth, mother s control parenting had a direct effect on the academic performance adjustment, but mother s warmth parenting had a indirect effect on the children s academic performance adjustment through executive function difficulty. Fifth, mother s warmth parenting had a indirect effect on the children s peer relationship adjustment through executive function difficulty. This study emphasized the importance of mothers parenting behavior and executive function of children to improve school adjustment.
