영상매체를 중심으로 한 인문학적 장애학의 효용과 변용

Usefulness and Transformation of Humanistic Disability Studies: Focusing on Image Media

본 연구에서는 영상매체를 활용한 인문학적 장애학의 효용과 사회과학과의 융합 그리고 인류 생존을 위한 공생 배려학으로서의 인문학적 장애학의 확대 가능성에 관해 논하였다. 인문학적 장애학의 효용에 관해서는 장애 관련 학문으로서의 (교육)특수교육과 장애인복지 분야로 나누어 살펴보았다. 아울러 연구자의 경험적 근거를 바탕으로 인문학적 장애학 연구물의 파급을 위한 아이디어를 고찰하였다. 인문학적 장애학의 변용에 관해서는 인문학과 사회과학의 융합의 실체와 그 사례를 제시하였다. 이어 자본주의의 맹위 속에 영상매체를 중심으로 한 인문학적 장애학의 공생 배려학으로의 확대를 통해 장애 여부를 불문한 쌍방형의 소통 양식을 논하였다. 마지막으로 인문학적 장애학의 효용과 확대재생산을 위한 융합적 장애학자들의 결집과 관련자들과의 전략적인 개입 방안을 제시하였다.

This study discussed the usefulness of humanistic disability studies which focused on the media of image and the possibility of expansion of humanistic disability studies into the viewpoint of a study respecting symbiosis(symbiosisrespecting- study) which was important to human existence. To look at the usefulness of humanities of disability studies, I examined the areas of special education and disability welfare as those directly regarded to ‘disability’. And I also examined ideas for distribution of research results on the basis of my own experiences. Concerning the transformation of humanities of disability studies, I discussed the substantiality and the examples of syncretism of humanities and social science. As a result, it was emphasized that mutual communication was important for humanistic disability studies employing image media to expand its influence, especially in the powerful capitalism society. The author lastly suggested the strategic methods of intervention, explaining how disability researchers unify as well as cooperate for the expansive reproduction of humanistic disability studies
