기초글쓰기 교육에서 읽기 텍스트의 의미

The Meaning of Reading Text in Basic Writing Education

이 논문은 기초글쓰기 교육에서 쓰기를 전제로 제시된 다양한 읽기 텍스트의 의미를 고찰한 것이다. 기존의 글쓰기 교육이 하나의 논제에 대한 필자의 생각을 기술하게 하는 것이었다면, 텍스트 읽기를 전제로 한 글쓰기 수업은 학습자들로 하여금 글쓰기 논제나 화제에 대하여 보다 깊이 있는 사고를 할 수 있게 한다는 점에서 의의가 있었다. 무엇보다 모든 계열의 학습자들은 인문·사회, 자연과학, 공학, 예술 등에 해당하는 다양한 읽기 텍스트의 읽기와 토론을 거쳐 한편의 글로 자신의 생각을 기술해 가는 과정을 통하여 열린 사고를 할 수 있었다. 뿐만 아니라 텍스트의 구조 분석을 통하여 다양한 형태의 글쓰기로 적용할 수 있었다. 이러한 ‘읽기-말하기-쓰기’가 결합된 통합형 글쓰기 교육은 학습자의 의사소통 역량을 강화할 수 있는 하나 의 글쓰기 교수-학습 사례가 된다.

This paper examines the meaning of the reading text given the premise of writing in the basic writing education. The existing writing education was to describe my thoughts on one topic. However, the writing lesson based on the reading of the topic text was meaningful in that the learners could think more deeply about the topic of writing and topic. Above all, learners read and discuss various reading texts related to humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and arts in <Basic Writing> subjects. When learners write through a discussion and write, open thinking becomes possible. And learners were able to broaden the scope of thinking through reading texts in various fields including major. This integrated writing education combined with reading - speaking - writing was an opportunity to strengthen the learner s communication ability.
