아버지의 양육참여도가 유아의 또래유능성에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Father’s Involvement in Child-Rearing on Young Child’s Peer Competence

본 연구는 아버지 양육참여도가 유아의 또래유능성에 미치는 영향을 세부적으로 살펴보고, 가정과 유아교육 현장에서 실제로 아버지의 양육참여를 높이는 데에 기초 자료를 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 부산시 소재 2개 유치원, 5개 어린이집 만 5세 원아와 그 아버지를 대상으로 한 295명이다. 자료 수집은 2018년 6월 4일부터 6월 22일까지 실시하였다. 수집된 자료처리는 인구학적 변인에 따른 양육참여도는 t-test와 일원 분산분석을 사용하였고, 아버지의 양육참여도가 또래유능성에 미치는 영향분석은 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 인구학적 변인에 따른 아버지의 양육참여도의 차이는 아버지의 학력, 직업, 평균 급여에서 차이를 보인다. 그러나 근무시간 전체는 차이가 없지만 평균 8시간미만의 근무시간을 가지는 아버지는 일부 하위요소에서 양육참여도의 차이를 보인다. 그러나 자녀 성별, 아버지 연령, 부모취업형태에 따른 양육참여도에는 차이가 없다. 둘째, 아버지의 양육참여도 하위요소 중에서 놀이·문화지원, 사회·정서지원, 교육지원 그리고 공동양육은 또래유능성에 유의미한 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 놀이·문화지원, 사회·정서지원, 교육 지원 그리고 공동양육이 높아지면 또래유능성도 높아진다.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basic data on the effect of father s parenting participation on children s peer competence and to increase the actual participation of father in the home and early childhood education field. The subjects of the study were 2 kindergartens in Pusan ​city, 5 nursery homes and 295 children for 5year old children and their father. Data collection was conducted from June 4, 2018 to June 22, 2018. The collected data were analyzed by t - test and one - way ANOVA. The effect of father s parenting participation on peer competence was analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows: First, the differences of father s parenting participation according to demographic variables are different in father s education, occupation, and average salary. Second, among the subordinate factors of father s parenting, play and cultural support, social and emotional support, educational support and joint nurture have a positive effect on peer competence, and play, cultural support, As support and joint nurturing become higher, peer competence also increases.
