사범계열 대학생이 지각한 열등감과 발표불안의 관계에서 비합리적 신념의 매개효과

The Mediating Effect of Perceived Irrational Beliefs on the Relationship between Personal Inferiority and Speech Anxiety in Teachers` College Students

본 연구에서는 사범계열 대학생이 지각한 열등감이 발표불안에 미치는 영향에 비합리적 신념이 매개효과를 가지는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 2018년 3월 초부터 말까지 약 한달 간 부산과 경남 지역 3개 대학교 사범계열 대학생 600명을 대상으로 설문조사가 실시되었고, 최종 457명의 자료가 분석되었다. 사범계열 대학생의 열등감과 발표불안 간의 관계에서 비합리적 신념이 매개효과를 보이는지 검증하기 위해 구조방정식을 사용해 매개모형검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 사범계열 대학생이 지각한 열등감이 발표불안에 미치는 영향에서 비합리적 신념의 부분매개 관계를 보여주는 연구모형이 완전매개를 보이는 경쟁모형에 비해 더 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 이연구를 통해 사범계열 대학생이 지각하는 비합리적 신념을 바꾸게 함으로써 열등감 으로 인한 발표불안이 어느 정도 완화될 수 있음을 검증하였다. 본 연구결과를 기반 으로 논의하였고 교육에 주는 시사점과 제한점, 추후 연구의 필요성을 제안하였다.

This study aimed to examine the between personal inferiority and speech anxiety of teachers` college students. A total of 457 participants was from 3 universities in Busan and Gyeongnam. Pearson correlations were examined among the study variables. And results from structural equation modeling analysis indicated that a hypothesized model produced the better fit to the data than a comparative structural model. Bootstrapping Analyses were used to prove the significance of the indirect effect. The hypothesized model shows the following results: First, speech anxiety was positively correlated to personal inferiority and irrational beliefs. Second, personal inferiority had an impact on speech anxiety indirectly and directly . Results indicated that irrational beliefs partly mediated the link between personal inferiority and speech anxiety. This study calls for the focus on irrational beliefs to reduce speech anxiety. Limitations of this study and implications for future studies were discussed.
