대학생의 그릿 군집 유형에 따른 일상적 창의성과 진로결정자기효능감 차이 연구

Differences in College Students’ Everyday Creativity and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy by Grit Type

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 그릿의 두가지 구성 요소인 흥미유지와 노력지속의 정도에 따른 그릿 유형을 확인하고, 각 유형에 따라 일상적 창의성과 진로결정 자기효능감에 어떠한 차이를 보이는지 확인하고자 이루어졌다. 이를 위해 대학생 235명을 대상으로 설문조사하여 자료를 분석한 결과, 그릿의 구성 요소인 흥미유 지와 노력 지속의 정도에 따라 총 4개의 그릿 유형이 확인되었다. 먼저 변인들 간상관분석을 실시한 결과 그릿과 진로결정자기효능감 및 일상적 창의성 간에 유의 미한 정적 상관이 나타났다. 그릿 하위 요인 중 노력지속은 진로결정자기효능감및 일상적 창의성과 높은 정적 상관을 보였지만 흥미유지와는 유의미한 상관을 보이지 않았다. 다음으로, 군집 분석을 통해 낮은 그릿 집단, 노력지속 우위 집단, 흥미유지 우위 집단, 높은 그릿 집단으로 구분 및 명명된 집단들 사이에 진로결정자 기효능감 및 일상적 창의성의 차이가 있는지 살펴보기 위해 다변량분산분석과 사후검증을 실시하였다. 그 결과 높은 그릿 집단과 노력지속 우위 집단이 다른 집단 들에 비해 진로결정자기효능감과 일상적 창의성이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 그릿이 한국 대학생의 진로발달과 창의성 교육에 주는 함의 및 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the types of grit for college students based on the two components of grit, perseverance of effort and consistency of interest, and to examine the differences in everyday creativity and career decision-making self-efficacy by identified grit type. For these purposes, a survey was administered to 235 college students and the analysis of the data revealed that students’ grit could be classified into four types(low grit, high perseverance of effort, high consistency of interest, and high grit) according to the degree of two components of grit. Students’ grit had statistically significant correlations with career decision-making self-efficacy and everyday creativity. Of the two components, the perseverance of effort showed high positive correlations with career decision-making self-efficacy and everyday creativity while the consistency of interest had no significant correlations. Next, multivariate analysis of variance and posthoc analysis were conducted to examine the differences in career decision-making self-efficacy and everyday creativity among four types of grit. Two groups, high grit group and high perseverance of effort group, showed higher career decision-making self-efficacy and higher everyday creativity than the other two groups. Based on these results, the study provided implications and suggestions for college students’ career development and creativity education in relation to grit.
