This article examines the lives of Muslims in Korea, focusing on the analyses of their mosques. I have visited 55 mosques in Korea that are open to the public and easily found on Google Map. This article studies its location, patron, members, and environment around mosques. As a result, I have categorized the Muslim communities into four groups, largely based on nationality of believers. Now, Korea is seeing varieties of constructions of Muslim communities and their residential areas in many industrial regions. Because Muslims are still a minority in Korean society, their “localization” of the areas is not aggressive. However, one can clearly see that the process has started slowly.
