A Study on the Utilization and Effectiveness of the App Using the Open API: Focused on the Korea Traditional Music App

K-Pop을 중심으로 한국의 문화 콘텐츠에 대한 인지도가 높아지면서 한국의 국가브랜드의 상승에도 영향을 미치고 있다. K-Pop의 경우에는 음원이 활발히 제공되고 있으며 많은 홍보가 이루어지고 있다. 하지만 우리의 전통음악에 대한 음원은 많지 않으며 한국 내에서도 한국음악은 음악의 주류에 속하지 못하는 경향이 있다. 정부 3.0으로 공공데이터를 개방하고 있어서 전통음악에 관한 데이터를 OpenAPI를 통해 무료로 제공받을 수 있어서 우리나라의 공공데이터를 이용하여 스마트폰 앱을 구현하면 한국의 전통음악을 쉽게 접할 기회가 많아진다. 본 연구는 “단순노출효과”에 의해 전통음악에의 노출빈도를 높여 국내외 적으로 한국음악에 대한 친밀도와 호감도를 높일 수 있다는 점에 착안하여, 설문을 통해 실제로 한국전통음악을 쉽게 접할 수 있는 앱이 개발될 경우, 그 활용도와 미래 파급효과를 추정해 본다.

Increased, awareness of Korea’s cultural content around the K-Pop is having an impact on the rise of South Korea’s national brand. In the case of K-Pop it has provided a sound lively and also a lot of publicity. But the source of the traditional music of Korea is not much. In addition, traditional music of Korea tends not belong to the mainstream of music, even in Korea. Recently, however, pushing the ‘Government 3.0’ from the government. So general public also has to be able to write an open public data. Data on the traditional music of Korea may also be offered free of charge through the OpenAPI. The implementation of smart phone apps using public data of the country is more opportunity for easy access to the traditional music of Korea. This study utilizes a “simple exposure effect”. Increasing the visibility of Korea’s traditional music at home and abroad that it can increase the familiarity and liking for music in Korea. We paid attention to this point. Thus, through the questionnaire, we ask people ‘if there is Korean traditional music apps how much they will be used’. We analyze the results of a survey and estimate the effects of app development.
