예비 국어 교사의 국어 수업에 나타난 ‘동기 유발’활동의 문제 양상 연구

The Problematic Aspects of‘Motivating’Activities Found in Pre-Service Korean Teachers’Demonstration of Korean Class

본고는 예비 국어 교사의 수업 실행 능력에서 중요한 요소인 학습 동기 유발 활동에 한정하여 수업 실행 양상을 분석하고 그에 따른 지도 방안을 제시한 연구이다. 본 연구에서는 예비 국어 교사의 학습 동기유발 활동에 나타난 문제 양상으로‘교과 지식의 오개념에서 비롯된 동기 유발 활동’,‘흥미 유발 위주의 매체 자료에만 기댄 동기 유발 활동’ ,‘학습 분위기 조성에 그친 동기 유발 활동’ ,‘전시 학습 내용 확인단계로 대체된 동기 유발 활동’ 을 도출할 수 있었다. 이에 따른 지도 방안으로 예비 국어 교사의 수업 능력 신장을 위한 수업에서 다음과 같은 실천적 지식으로,‘수업의 흐름에서‘동기 유발 활동’의 의미와 중 요성에 대해 알기’ ,‘교수자로서 수업 목표와 학습 내용의 오개념 확인하고 학습 목표와 수업 내용을 명확하게 인지하기’,‘국어과 학습 목표와 직접적으로 표상하는 동기 유발 자료 선정하고 학습 동기 유발활동 구안하기’ ,‘수업의 도입 단계에서 이루어지는 여타 활동과 구별된 동기 유발 활동 구안하기’ ,‘수업 실행 전 계획한 동기 유발 활동이 수업 목표와 내용, 교수자의 의도, 학습자의 반응 예상 등을 고려하여 적절한지 점검하기’ 를 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the aspects of class provision focusing on motivating activities for learning, one of the crucial factors in the delivery of lectures by pre-service Korean teachers, and to suggest teaching plans according to that. As problematic aspects found in pre-service Korean teachers’motivating activities for learning, this study drew the following results:‘motivated activities arising from misconception of learning’,‘motivating activities utilizing media materials only to intrigue students’, ‘motivating activities just form a learning atmosphere’,‘motivating activities overlapped or replacing the step of checking what was learned in the previous class’. As practical knowledge needed for the class to improve pre-service Korean teachers’teaching skills, this study suggested teaching plans as follows:‘knowing the meaning and importance of motivating activities in the flow of class’,‘knowing how to devise motivating activities for learning associated directly with the goals of Korean class’,‘knowing the characteristics of motivating activities differentiated from other activities conducted in the warm-up step of class’,‘knowing what need to be considered in selecting a variety of media materials applied to motivating activities’,‘knowing how to examine if motivating activities planned before starting the class are appropriate in consideration of the class’ goals and contents, instructor’s intention, and expectation of learners’ responses’
