IPA분석을 활용한 학습자 관점에서의 대학 모바일러닝 질 제고 방안 탐색

A Study of Exploring the Improvement of Quality of University Mobile Learning in the Learner s Perspective Using IPA Analysis: Focusing on Information System Success Model

최근 IT 기술의 발달은 학습자의 학습 환경에도 영향을 미치면서 대학에서의 모바일러닝(m-learning) 확산을 가속화시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 대학의 모바일러닝 품질에 대한 인식 차이를 학습자 관점에서 분석하여 모바일러닝 시스템 구축 및 운영에 있어 이론적 토대를 제공하고자 하였다. Delone & Mclean(2003)의 정보시스템성공모형을 기반으로 임정훈, 임병노, 성은모(2014)의 스마트교육 콘텐츠 일반 품질인증기준을 적용하여 조사문항을 개발한 뒤, 모바일러닝 유경험자가 인식하고 있는 시스템품질, 콘텐츠품질, 교수설계품질, 서비스품질 4개 영역에 대해 학습자가 인식하고 있는 품질수준과 중요도를 조사를 하였다. 수집된 데이터로 IPA모형 매트릭스 분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, 학습자는 대학의 모바일러닝 품질에서의 콘텐츠 품질과 시스템 품질을 중요하게 인식하고 있어 중점적으로 성과를 측정하고 관리할 필요가 있는 요소이다. 둘째, 학습자는 모바일 특성이 반영된 콘텐츠 설계 및 상호작용 기능에 대한 요구를 가지고 있다. 셋째, 학습자들은 직관적인 화면 인터페이스와 메뉴 구성을 선호한다. 이 연구는 학습자 관점에서 학습자의 요구를 분석하여 모바일러닝 시스템의 품질을 향상시킬 수 있는 방향을 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Recently, the development of IT technology has been affecting the learning environment of learners, accelerating the diffusion of mobile learning(m-learning) in the universities. The purpose of this study is to provide a theoretical foundation for the construction and operation of m-learning system by analyzing the difference of perception of the university m-learning quality from the viewpoint of learners. For the study, we first developed the questionnaire, based on the information system success model developed by Delone & Mclean(2003) and the general quality certification criteria of Smart Education contents developed by Junghoon Leem, Byungro Lim and Eunmo Sung(2014). And next, we examined the quality level and importance of system quality, content quality, instructional design quality, and service quality perceived by experienced m-learning learners. Finally, the following conclusions were drawn from the IPA model matrix analysis utilizing the collected data. First, the contents quality and system quality are observed to be the highest important factors affecting the learner’s perception in the university m-learning system. This means that these factors should be more considered than the others when introducing or operating the m-learning system. In addition, the impact of those factors should be systematically monitored. Second, it is found that learners have the need for contents design and interaction function reflecting mobile characteristics. Third, the analysis shows that learners prefer intuitive screen interface and menu composition in m-learning. This study is meaningful in that it has presented a direction to improve the quality of the mobile learning system reflecting the needs of learners.
