박창식 필사 ≷창가휘집≸ 해제 및 분석

Material Value and Significance of Changgahwijip

본고는 창가집 ≷창가휘집≸의 해제 논문으로서, ≷창가휘집≸을 학계에 소개하며, 개괄적으로 분석함을 연구 목적으로 삼겠다. ≷창가휘집≸은 박흥식의 형 박창식이 1910년경에 필사하고 편찬한 창가집이다. ≷창가휘집≸은 창가집으로서는 어울리지 않게, 산술 문제, 한문 문장, 사설까지도 담고 있었다. 그러나 이 산술 문제, 한문 문장, 사설 등은 ≷창가휘집≸이 산술 교육, 한문 교육, 창가 교육까지도 아우르는 종합 교육적 성격을 갖추었음을 보여준다. ≷창가휘집≸에 실린 창가들은 대개 신문과 다른 창가집들에도 실려있었으며, 충군의식과 영토의식을 표출하고, 경쟁 속 생존 도구로서의 교육을 강조했다. 이러한 주제 의식은 국권 피탈이 멀지 않은 시점에 근대 한국인들이 갈구하던 시대 정신을 반영하고 있다고 볼 수 있다.

This thesis is an introductory paper of Changgahwijip. This thesis’ purpose is introduction of Changgahwijip to the academic world and analyze it in general. Changgahwijip is the Changga anthology collected by Park Chang Sik who is older brother of Park Heung Sik around 1910. Changga in Changgahwijip were usually placed in newspapers and other Changga anthology, highlighting loyalty rituals and territorial awareness, and emphasizing education as a competitive survival tool. This subject consciousness reflected the spirit of the era before colonization by Japan.
