New Product planing is a vital decision making of modern firms, because it forms a foundation for firm development. A conjoint study aims to correct manufacturer-oriented product development and reflect consumer preference on product development process. This study applies conjoint analysis to a camera category, the most dynamic product category of CCTV system. Through the study, we identify attributes buyers highly evaluate and suggest the ways to accommodate the results in the new camera development.
