This paper is to find public acceptance factors that may affect trust on nuclear power policy when the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster in Japan on March 11, 2011 decreased public acceptance on nuclear power plants in Korea. This paper employs a regression analysis method and a logistic regression analysis methods with four independent variables of knowledge, safety, trust, and energy factors from the literature review. According to the results, males show more support nuclear power plants than females. Knowledge and safety factors seems to be more important than the other factors. All of the four factors have statistical significances on public acceptance of nuclear power plants, especially knowledge factors to be more important. Trust factors are highly associated with residential locations in constructuring new nuclear power plant. This paper may suggest to increase nulcear safety technology and to provide accurate and balanced information in order to enhance public acceptance and trust toward nuclear power plant
