A Study on the Public Health Services Evaluation System in Local Government - Focused on the Local Government of Public Health Services Evaluation Systems in U.S.A. -

This study presents how to develop and establish a new intergrated local government health services evaluation system, in order to improve the efficiency of public health services evaluation conducted by the central government. This paper is to consider the case of local government of public health services evaluation system in U.S.A. And the purpose of this study is to public health services evaluation system in local government. This study conducted to identify problems with the existing local government of public health services evaluation system in U.S.A. and to set the direction of the improved integrated public health services evaluation system in Korea. This paper is to consider the public health services evaluation system and model in local government. This consisted of areas, services, factors and indicators to evaluate, based on the reviews of assorted health services evaluation system literature. The Korean government has evaluated public health services provided by public health centers, such as community health plan, customized home care services, infectious disease control, the operation of mental health centers, and health promotion.
