Literature Review on the Effect of Bioactive Properties Action of Ginger Extract on Oral Cavity

This study was carried out to identify the action of bioactive properties and on the effect of bioactive properties action of ginger extract on oral cavity by literature review. The data was obtained to search 44 literature by keyword of ginger using the MEDLINE database. Fifty-four articles was examined the effect of gingerol on animal like rat and dog on action of anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-alergy and examining modalities for treatment or improvement of health status in people were reviewed. 6-Gingerol is one of the ingredients of ZR having biological effects like anti-inflammatory and analgesic action. Ginger is an important medicinal and culinary herb, known worldwide for its health promoting properties. Because ginger does not reproduce by seed, but is clonally propagated via rhizome division and replanting, it is susceptible to accumulation and transmittance of pathogens from generation to generation. Ginger for prenatal nausea and vomiting, moxibustion for version of breech presentation, sterile water injections for back pain relief in labor. These findings suggest that the biochemical mechanisms of ginger with a highly selective antibacterial activity appears to be an attractive candidate as a replacement for chemicals and oral hygiene products with ginger extract will be a new paradigm delivering natural benefit for consumers.
