A Theoretical Study on the Problems of Older Persons and the Concepts and Characteristics of Older

With the development of science and health & medical technologies, the rapid industrialization and economic growth, Korean society is aging at the fastest rate. The rapid aging of the population will cause serious problems for the nation. This paper is to study the problems of older persons and the concepts and characteristics of older persons in aged society. And the purpose of this study is to the current social problems of older persons and the concepts and characteristics of older persons. Therefore, as a new concepts and characteristics of older persons in aged society, the government s health & welfare policies of older persons should be provided for the active aging and healthy ageing.
