Study on the Required and Priority Competencies for Future Talent at Life Stages in the 4th Industrial Revolution

본 연구에서는 전 생애적 관점에서 미래사회 인재의 핵심역량을 도출하고 각 생애단계별(아동기, 청소년기, 청년기, 중장년기) 필요역량과 우선순위 역량을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 최근 5년 간(2013년∼2018년) 국내외 미래역량관련 선행연구를 종합적으로 분석하여 연구진 회의 및 전문가 자문 결과를 반영하여 35개의 역량을 도출하였다. 도출된 35개의 역량을 토대로 3차에 걸친 생애단계별 전문가 델파이를 통해 27개의 미래역량 확정 및 각 단계별 필요역량과 우선순위 역량을 도출하였다. 분석결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 27개 중 아동기 16개, 청소년기 25개, 청년기 26개, 중장년기 23개 역량이 필요역량으로 나타났다. 아동기에 갖춰야 할 역량은 16개로 가장 적은 반면, 청소년기와 청년기는 각각 25개, 26개로 제시된 27개 미래역량 중 1, 2개를 제외하고 모든 역량을 골고루 갖추어야 하는 시기임을 확인할 수 있었다. 다음으로, 각 단계별우선순위 역량을 분석한 결과 아동기는 4개, 청소년기는 14개, 청년기는 10개, 중장년기는 8개로 필요역량과 유사하게 청소년기와 청년기에 가장 우선적으로 개발해야 할 역량이 많은 것으로 분석되었다. 이 중 아동기부터 중장년기까지 4단계 모두에서 가장 우선적으로 개발해야 할 역량은 통합적 사고력으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 실천적 측면에서의 시사점을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the required and priority competencies for future talent at life stages—from childhood to middle-aged adults—in the 4th industrial revolution. In order to conduct this research, our research team analyzed the extant literature review of future competencies published between 2013 and 2018, and drew 35 competencies. Based on the three-round Delphi technique, the 27 future competencies were finalized, and we confirmed the required competencies at each life stage (16 competencies for childhood, 25 competencies for teenagers, 26 competencies for youths, 23 competencies for middle-aged groups). Next, as a result of the analysis, the priority competencies at each life stage were drawn: four competencies for childhood, fourteen competencies for teenagers, ten competencies for youth, and eight competencies for middle-aged adults. We found that integrative thinking as the top priority competency should be commonly fostered over the lifespan and emphasized. We also provided practical implications based on the results.
