탄소단섬유강화 사출성형 복합재료의 파괴강도에 관한 연구

A Study on Facture Strength of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composite Materials Using Injecting Mold

Carbon fiber displays many desirable properties including a large surface-to-volume ratio, chemical and thermal stability, high electrical conductivity, and high mechanical strengths. In this study, short carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic polycarbonate polymer composites are fabricated according to weight percent by 10wt%, 15wt.%, and 20wt.%. The samples were then developed using an injection molding method. The conductivity characteristics were analyzed using a Keithley 6220 Current Source and a 4-point probe as, an electrical conductivity tester. The orientation of the specimen was analyzed using SEM. In addition, the electrical properties of the carbon fiber composite improved through weight percent quantity. This is owing to the fiber connected structure model and the orientation of carbon fiber in the polymer.
