보육교사의 아동기 부모양육태도에 대한 인식이 아동학대에 미치는 영향에서 인권의식의 매개효과

The Moderating Effects of Awareness for Human Right in the Relationship between Parenting Attitudes Experienced in Childhood by Child Care Teachers and Child Abuse in Child Care Center

본 연구는 아동기에 인식한 부모양육태도가 현직 보육교사의 아동학대에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴 보고, 부모양육태도와 아동학대 간의 관계에서 보육교사의 인권의식의 매개효과를 검증하기 위해 설계되었 다. 본 연구의 연구문제는 첫째, 보육교사가 경험한 아동기 부모양육태도에 대한 인식은 아동학대에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 둘째, 보육교사의 부모양육태도에 대한 인식은 인권의식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 셋째, 보육교사의 인권의식은 아동학대에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가? 이다. 연구대상은 부산지역 소재 어린이집에 근무 중인 보육교사 480명을 대상으로 부모양육태도에 대한 인식, 아동학대 경험, 인권인식 관련 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 첫째, 보육교사가 경험한 아동기 부모양육태도에 대한 인식은 아동학대에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 보육교사가 경험한 아동기 부모양육태도에 대한 인식은 인권의식에 직접 적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 보육교사의 인권의식은 아동학대에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과를 볼 때 보육실천 현장에서도 보육교사에 대한 인권의식 함양을 위한 의무만을 강조하기 보다는 인권이 행동으로 가시화될 수 있도록 인권의식에 대한 보다 구체적인 교육과 실천적 환경이 구축되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

This study aimed to examine the moderating effects of awareness for human right in the relationship between parenting attitudes experienced in childhood by child care teachers and child abuse in child care centers. Our research hypotheses were awareness for human right will moderate the relationship between parenting attitudes and child abuse. The sample consisted of child care teachers working in day care centers in Busan. We used a purposive sampling and collected data through a conducted in February and March 2015of the 500 surveys administered, 20 surveys with in since re responses were excluded, and 480 surveys were used in the final analysis. The results showed that awareness for human right among child care teachers moderates parenting attitudes experienced in childhood and child abuse. Specifically, for child care teachers with higher levels of awareness for human right, the association between parenting attitudes experienced in childhood and child abuse was stronger. On the basis of the results, this study discussed the policy and practice implications of improving the work environment of child care teachers, and addressed the potential source for awareness for human right to prevent child abuse in child care centers
