Eco-crisis and Reflection of Literature

이 글은 중국 ‘생태시’의 성장과정과 창작 현황을 고찰하고, 나아가 21세기에 들어 최악의 환경오염 문제를 안고 있는 중국 사회에서 ‘생태시’가 내포하고 있는 ‘환경과 개발’에 대한 비판적 인식과, ‘인간과 자연’ 관계에 대한 새로운 지향을 살펴보고자 한 시도이다. 개혁개방 이후 시장경제체제로 전환하면서 중국이 보여준 기록적인 경제성장률의 이면에는 경제성장의 속도에 상응하는 수준으로 자연환경파괴와 오염이 확대되고 있었다. 이러한 현실적 배경을 바탕으로 중국의 생태시 창작은 80년대 중반 극소수 시인의 작품에서 나타나기 시작했으며 2000년대 이후에 하나의 창작 흐름을 형성하게 된다. 본고는 주요 작가의 작 품을 중심으로 생태시가 내포하고 있는 사회 참여의식과 비판적 특징, 자연과 인간의 새로운 관계 모색의 문제를 중점적으로 살펴본다.

This article discusses the development, background and current situation of ecological poetry in China. Since twenty-first Century, China is facing the most serious environmental pollution problems. Environmental problems are considered to be a threat to the future of mankind, and the voices of introspection and critique of economic development and blind consumption are also gradually expanding. At present, ecological poetry has become a new topic in Chinese literary circles. It reflects the change in understanding of environmental problems. Through the study of ecological poetry , can look forward to understanding the critical consciousness of environment and development and the new aspiration of the relationship between man and nature.
