The government is encouraging new & renewable energy systems such as installation support in house and building, PV rental, and so on. Especially, PV(Photovoltaic) system has the highest percentage of the renewable energy system in Korea and the share of PV is increasing every year. There is a problem with a shortage of PV sites, but the building PV system has attracted attention as an alternative. The PV system consists of a module(array), a connection-box, an inverter, a weather observation box, and a monitoring system. The monitoring software support managing and operating of PV system. In order to operate efficiently a PV system, it is necessary to analyze power performance as well as data monitoring. In this paper, the performance of building PV system(20kW and 30kW) is analyzed by reviewing the relations between PV Power, yield and module temperature. As a result of this study, PV system performance was related to power loss in array and inverter. The efficiency of the array was decreased due to the fluctuation of solar radiation and the high module temperature. Especially, module temperature was influenced by outside temperature, solar radiation, wind speed. The power loss in the inverter was caused by inverter efficiency.
