2017년 8월 3일부터 4일까지 경기도 안산시 소재 시화호에서 이루어진 거미상 조사에서 채집된 수리거미과의 거미를 조사한 연구한 결과, 한국산 거미목 수리거미과의 1미기록종인 시화외줄솔개거미(Hitobia asiatica)를 기재, 보고하는 바이다. 이번에 기재, 보고되는 시화외줄솔개거미는 암컷의 외부생식기와 내부생식기가 일본의 H. asiatica와 일치하여 동정되었다. 기재한 미기록종의 표본은 경기도 남양주시 한국거미연구소 주필거미박물관에 소장되어 있다.
A newly recorded species Hitobia asiatica is discribed on this paper for the first time in Korea. Hitobia asiatica in Korea has same epigenous organ structures as in other countries. The holotype specimen of this species is deposited at Joopil spider museum, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.
