청소년의 감사성향과 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지와 긍정심리자본의 매개효과

The Mediating Effects of Social Support and Positive Psychological Capital in the Relationship Between Gratitude and Subjective Well-Being in Adolescents

본 연구는 청소년의 감사성향과 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지와 긍정심 리자본이 어떠한 매개효과를 갖는지를 분석하기 위해 수행되었고, 충청북도 소재 3개 고등학교의 남녀 고등학생 352명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구도구로는 감사성향 척도, 사회적 지지 척도, 긍정심리자본 척도와 주관적 안녕감 척도를 사용하였다. 각 변인 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과 검증을 위해 SPSS PROCESS macro를 사용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구의 주요 변인인 감사성향, 사회적 지지, 긍정심리자본, 주관적 안녕감 간에는 모두 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 감사성향과 주관적 안녕감의 관계에서 사회적 지지와 긍정심리자본이 각각 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 감사성향은 주관적 안녕감에 직접적인 효과가 있으며, 사회적 지지와 긍정심리 자본을 순차적으로 거치는 이중매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 주요 연구 결과를 바탕으로 시사점 및 제한점, 그리고 후속 연구를 위한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating roles of social support and positive psychological capital in the relationship between gratitude and subjective well-being in adolescents. Participants were 352 high school students in Chungbuk province, South Korea. The instruments used for this study were the Gratitude Questionnaire(K-GQ-6), the Social Support Scale, the Positive Psychological Capital Questionnaire(K-PPC), the Satisfaction with the Life Scale, the Positive and Negative Affect Scale. The collected data were analyzed using PROCESS macro, a bootstrapping method that is known to be a more accurate mediation method than the Baron and Kenny and Sobel test. The major results of this study were summarized as follows. First, simple correlations among measured variables of gratitude, social support, positive psychological capital, and subjective well-being were all positive and significant. Second, it turned out that social support and positive psychological capital had mediation effects on the influence of gratitude of adolescents on subjective well-being. Third, in the relationship between gratitude and subjective well-being, serial double mediation effect of social support and positive psychological capital were significant. Based on these results, the implications and limitations of the present study were discussed.
