시교육에서 타자의 문제에 대한 고찰

A Study on the Subject of the Other in Poetry Education

이 연구의 목적은 문학과 삶을 관련짓는 논의에서 중요하게 다루어지는 타자의 문제를 문학교육 중 시교육의 관점을 중심으로 살펴보는 데 있다. 시를 통한 독자의 타자 경험은 시라는 대상에 대한 직접적 지각을 매개로 타자의 삶을 간접적으로 이해하는 방식으로서의 존재론적 경험, 시적 주체로서 타자의 주관에 대한 이해를 통해 대상 타자가 아닌 주체 타자로서 시를 바라보게 되는 인식론적 경험, 그리고 독자와 타자가 상호적으로 연관되어지는 소통론적 경험의 과정으로 이루어진다. 따라서 타자 이해를 위한 시교육은 텍스트 층위뿐만 아니라 생산과 수용 층위를 아우 르면서 첫째, 텍스트 층위에서 시적 대상으로서의 타자 이해, 둘째, 생산 층위에서 시적 주체로서의 타자 이해, 그리고 셋째, 수용 층위에서 시의 독자와 타자 간의 소통적 이해가 이루어져야 한다. 이러한 과정을 통해 획득한 시적 경험은 시의 세계에 대한 이해이자 타자 이해를 통한 자아 성찰 및 삶의 공동체에 대한 새로운 관점을 획득할 수 있는 계기로서 작용할 수 있을 것이다

The purpose of this study is to examine the subject of others, which is important in the discussions related to literature and life, from the perspective of poetry education. The reader’s experience through poetry is based on the ontological experience as a way to indirectly understand the other’s life through the direct perception of poetry. And it is based on the epistemological experience that reads the poem subjectively through the understanding of the other’s thoughts, and the process of communicating experience where the reader and the other are interrelated. The poetry education for the understanding of others is composed of not only the textual perspective but also the productive and acceptance perspective. Understanding the other as a poetic object is possible in terms of the text, the production, and the acceptance. The poetic experience can be the way to have a new perspective on the self-reflection and the community of life through the comprehension of the poetic world and the understanding of the other.
