대학생 학사경고자에 관한 국내 연구동향 및 지원방법 고찰

A Review on the Trend of Domestic Researches and Support Methods for University Students under Academic Probation

본 연구는 대학생 학사경고자에 관한 국내 연구를 분석하고 그 중 실험연구만을 대상으로 구체적인 지원방법을 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 2000년도에서 2018년도까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 논문들을 조사하여 총 27편의 분석대상 논문을 최종 선정하여 분석하였다. 먼저 전반적인 연구동향을 세 가지 변인(연도별 학술지 게재 현황, 연구방법별 연구주제, 연구대상)에 따라 분석하였다. 이어서 향후 대학생학사경고자의 교육지원 프로그램 개발 및 적용에 도움이 되는 기초자료를 수집하기 위해 실험연구만을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 일반교육 분야 학술지를 중심으로 20개의 다양한 학술지에 발표되었고 질적연구로써 학사경고 극복 및 상담경험을 주제로 이루어진 연구가 가장 많이 나타났다. 둘째, 연구대상은 모든 논문이 4년제 대학교에 재학중인 학생이었다. 셋째, 실험연구만을 분석한 결과 연구대상 수는 다양한 인원수로 구성되었으며 실험설계는 모두 단일집단 사전·사후 설계를 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 실험연구의 독립변인은 대부분 교육지원 프로그램의 일환으로 학습지원 프로그램을 사용한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 국내 대학에서 학사경고자들에게 필요한 교육지원 방안에 대하여 논의하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze domestic researches targeting university students under academic probation, and also to examine the concrete support methods targeting the experimental researches. For this, by researching the theses published in domestic journals from 2000 to 2018, total 27 theses were selected for the final analysis. First, the overall trend of researches was analyzed in accordance with many variables(current status of publication in journals in each year, research themes in each research method, research subjects). Next, to collect the basic data helpful for the development/application of educational support program for university students under academic probation in the future, the experimental researches were analyzed focusing on the variables of intervention methods such as research design, independent variable, intervention session, and mediator. In the results of this study, first, the analysis theses targeting university students under academic probation were published in 20 diverse journals. Second, regarding the research theme, there were the most researches under the theme of overcoming academic probation and counseling experience. In case of research method, there were overwhelmingly lots of qualitative researches. Third, regarding the research subject, most of them targeted the students of four-year-course universities, and the research area evenly included Seoul and provinces. Based on such results of this study, the measures for the educational support that could be provided by domestic universities to university students under academic probation were suggested.
