J. Dewey와 묵자(墨子)를 반영한 평생교육의 지향점

A Direction of Lifelong Education Reflecting Thought of J. Dewey & Mookja

본 연구는 사회양극화 현상으로 인하여 발생되는 계층 간 갈등을 해결하기 위한 평생교육의 미래적 지향점을 성찰하기 위함이다. 현시대적 상황 속에서 연구자는 Dewey의 시대적 상황과 墨子의 시대적 상황이 유사함을 발견하게 되었다. 그리하여 자신들의 문제 상황을 해결하기 위해 노력했던 Dewey와 墨子의 사상을 살펴보고자한다. 가장 난세라 여겨졌던 문제 상황 속에서, 확고한 이론과 실천을 행하며 인간의 존엄성을 회복하기 위해 노력한 두 사상가는 민주사회와 안생 생(安生 生)사회를 주장하였다. 평생교육의 미래적 지향점이 바로 여기에 있다고 할 수 있다. 두 사상가들이 이루고자 했던 사회의 모습은 평생교육이 실현해내야 하는 모습이라 여겨진다. 왜냐하면 교육이 이러한 상황타개를 위한 해결책을 제시해야 하지만 현재의 학 교교육만으로 문제해결이 어렵기 때문이다. 평생학습을 통한 교육이 현재의 문제 상황을 올바로 인식할 수 있게 해주고, 해결책을 제시할 수 있는 희망적 대안이 될 것이라 생각된다. 그러나 평생교육이 가진 한계를 올바로 인식하지 못한 상태에서의 대안은 무모할 수밖에 없다. 따라서 위대한 사상가들의 가르침을 통해 현재의 상황을 해결해 나가는 지침으로 삼고자 한다.

Hell Chosun meaning Korea is hell and there is no hope has emerged in a complex situation. For that reason, we need a philosophical reason to face these realities and what solutions we can offer. The ideas of John Dewey and Mookja are old futures for us. Dewey, who devoted his life to the restoration of humanity buried by community-centered rural society and transformed into a divided industrial society and Mookja, who tried to prevent the war of slaughter that seek for your own profit after conquering other people, is the future life that we must live. Those who exist in this global village and who can be proud of human beings have lived with their own needs, taking, smashing and ignoring. Thus, the present global village is becoming a flesh-eating style like the Choon Choo Jon Gook period. At this point, coexistence and symbiosis is a solution that can save everyone. We must acknowledge and respect all the diversity that lives on this planet. So we should live with deep affection and symbiosis. This is something that we must learn through two thinkers. Based on this enlightenment, lifelong education is being asked for a practical way to create a living world together .
