보건소 방문간호사의 문화적 역량에 관한 연구

A Study on the Cultural Competency among Visiting Nurses in Public Health Center

본 연구는 보건소 방문간호사의 문화적 역량을 파악하고자 실시되었다. 연구 대상 자는 보건소 방문간호사 122명이었으며, 자료 수집기간은 2016년 3월부터 4월까지이 었다. 연구 결과 보건소 방문간호사의 문화적 역량 전체 평균은 3.53점이었고, 하부 영역인 문화적 인식은 4.14점, 문화적 태도는 4.07점, 문화적 지식 및 기술은 3.15점이 었다. 본 연구에서 보건소 방문간호사의 문화적 역량에 유의한 차이를 보인 특성은 보건소 유형, 방문간호 이전경력, 방문간호 업무만족도, 다문화가족 간호만족도, 다문화가족 연계서비스 경험이었다. 본 연구 결과는 보건소 방문간호사의 문화적 역량을 강화하기 위한 프로그램을 구성하는데 필요한 기초자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the level of cultural competency among visiting nurses in public health center. The survey data collected from visiting nurses between March and April 2016. The average score for cultural competency among visiting nurses was 3.53 points (range 0～5). When it was divided into sub-categories, the mean of the cultural recognition, cultural attitude, cultural knowledge and skills were 4.14 points, 4.07 points, 3.15 points respectively. Significant differences were found by type of public health center, previous experience before visiting nursing services, satisfaction of visiting nursing services, satisfaction of multicultural nursing services and the of linking service experience to multicultural families. The results may help develop systemic educational programs to enhance the cultural competency of visiting nurses.
