Korean Artificial reefs(ARs) have developed 79 kinds by 2018 and installed in Korean coastal area. And Koreans ARs technology reached advanced stage through steady research performance and government investment. The latest ARs project is progressing systematically with consideration of sea area environment and biological characteristic, and also there is a growing interest in AR’s arrangement method for AR’s high functionality along real sea condition. Research of AR’s arrangement is conceptual stage now and there are being installed in real sea through verification of biological effect for various ARs. So there are necessary for stable function of ARs by researches for stability according distance of ARs, but not enough that. Therefore this study considered AR’s stability by distance of pyramid type ARs in wave field through 2D hydraulic experiment and suggested ratio proper distance for pyramid type AR’s height caused by scouring and subsiding stability.
