다문화 영역 이중언어 교육 연구 동향 분석

Research Trends of Bilingual Education On Multi-cultural Era

본고는 다문화 배경 학습자의 이중언어 교육에 초점을 맞춰 연구 성과의 현주소와 후속 연구의 방향성을 조망하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 2018년 8월부터 자료 수집및 분석을 시작하였으며 2019년 1월까지 학술연구정보서비스(RISS)를 통해 검색된 다문화 관련 이중언어 교육 분야의 논문을 대상으로 연구 동향을 파악하였다. 구체 적으로는 ‘다문화’ 및 ‘이중언어 교육’이라는 주제어를 중심으로 2008년부터 2018년 까지 진행된 연구에 대해 연도별, 연구 방법 및 연구 대상, 연구내용에 따라 분석 하였다. 본고는 분석 대상 논문의 연구내용에 초점을 두고 교수학, 정책 및 현황과 언어권 별 연구 동향을 살폈다. 분석 방법은 분석틀에 근거한 기존의 연역적 접근 방식과 더불어 논문 핵심어에 대한 자연어 처리 과정을 거쳐 연구 과정의 객관성을 제고하고 연역적 분석결과를 귀납하였다. 분석결과, 아직 교육의 일선에서 실행 가능한 교수학 및 내용학에 대한 연구가 미진함을 알 수 있었고 아직 다문화 영역의 이중언어 교육의 실제가 구축되지 않은 실정이지만 본고의 분석 결과를 통해 다문화 구성원들의 이중언어 교육에 대한 필요성 및 중요성이 충분히 확인되었고 후속 연구의 방향성에 대해 다각적으로 제안하였음에 의미를 둘 수 있다.

This study focuses on the bilingual education of multicultural background learners and examines the current status of research achievement and the direction of subsequent studies. This study began data collection and analysis in August 2018, and analyzed the research trends of papers on bilingual education related to multicultural fields until January 2019 through the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). Specifically, the research focused on the keywords ‘multicultural and ‘bilingual education conducted from 2008 to 2018 and carried out research according to the year, research method, research subjects, and research contents. This paper focuses on the research contents of the papers, and examines the trends in curriculum, policies and status, and research trends by nationality. The analysis method used the existing deductive approach based on the analysis framework. Then, through the natural language processing method, the objectivity of the research process was enhanced and this method induces the result of deductive analysis. As a result of the analysis, it can be seen that there is not much research on practical parts and content studies at the education field. The actual situation of bilingual education in multicultural areas has not been established yet. But this study confirms the need for this type of research and proposes various directions for subsequent study.
