중등학교 영어교사 임용 후보자 선정 경쟁시험 문항의 TAACO 응집성 분석

A Cohesion Analysis of the Secondary School English Teacher Recruitment Exam using TAACO.

본 연구는 2014~2018학년도에 실시된 중등 임용 영어시험의 지문을 분석하여 중등 임용 영어시험의 지식, 이해, 적용 유형별 지문에 나타나는 응집성의 차이를 알아 보고자 한다. 이에 따라, 2014~2018학년도 중등 임용 영어시험의 문항을 지식, 이해, 적용의 유형별로 분류하여 코퍼스로 구축한 후 응집성을 분석하는 도구로 개발된 TAACO를 사용하여 선행 정보, 문장 중복 및 단락 중복 항목을 분석하였다. 그 결과로 유형별 지문의 응집성 양상이 다르게 나타남을 확인할 수 있었으며, 분석이 이루 어진 세 항목에서 이해 유형과 적용 유형 간 나타나는 응집성의 양상이 다름을 파악할 수 있었다. 이를 통해, 지식, 이해, 적용 유형별 지문이 지닌 특성을 파악할 수 있으며 각 지문이 지닌 응집성의 특성을 바탕으로 지문에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the item types of the Secondary School English Teacher Recruitment Exam of Korea using TAACO. The test item types are classified into knowledge, comprehension, and application based on Bloom s taxonomy. The indices of Givenness, Sentence and Paragraph overlap in TAACO are selected as the basis of text cohesion analysis to find the differences of the item types of the recruitment exam. The result shows that differences between comprehension and application are found in the pattern of text cohesion. Through this, it is possible to identify the characteristics of each item type and to enhance understanding of text based on its cohesion.
