컨설팅 장학을 활용한 연극 공연 지도 연구 -서울 J 초등학교 6학년 사례를 중심으로-

A Study on the Teaching Method of Play Performance Using Consulting Technique -Based on the 6th grade case of J Elementary School in Seoul-

이 연구의 목적은 교사들의 연극 공연 지도를 도울 수 있는 방안으로 컨설팅 장학이 적절하다고 보고, 서울 J 초등학교 6학년의 사례를 탐색하는 데 있다. 이 사례를 조사하기 위한 일정은 2018년 3월부터 시작하여, 같은 해 12월에 마무리하였 다. 그 결과 연극 공연 지도를 위한 컨설팅 장학의 절차로는 ‘(1) 우수한 전문 컨설 턴트 섭외’, ‘(2) 연극 공연 지도 방법 연수’, ‘(3) 연극 공연 일정 및 중간 점검’, ‘(4) 연극 공연 지도 능력 습득 및 정착’이 있었고, 그 내용에는 ‘연극 이해 교육’과 ‘역할 소개 및 역할 정하기’가 있었으며, ‘연극 이해 교육’에서는 ‘희곡에서 출발하는 연극’과 ‘즉흥극에서 출발하는 연극’을 안내하고, ‘역할 소개 및 역할 정하기’에서는 ‘역할의 종류와 하는 일’, ‘역할 정하기’가 있음을 분석하였다. 연극 공연 지도를 위한 컨설팅 장학 자체에 관한 평가에서는 첫째 학생들이 만든 희곡은 거시적으로는큰 문제가 없이 좋았고, 전하고자 하는 메시지가 분명해서 성공적이었으며, 둘째 참여한 학습자들은 공연을 준비하면서 힘들고 짜증나는 감정을 경험하지만, 함께 고생하며 다독이는 가운데 서로에 대한 이해와 공동체 의식도 생기고 자신감도 강해졌다고 평가했고, 마지막으로 교사들은 컨설턴트의 조언 가운데 여러 가지가 인상적이었고, 컨설팅 장학이 많은 도움을 주었다고 응답했다. 서울 J 초등학교의 컨설팅 장학 사례를 분석한 이 연구는 단일한 사례여서 일반화할 수는 없지만, 이를 근거로 더 나은 컨설팅 장학을 모색할 수 있는 초석을 마련한 데 의의가 있다. 앞으로 연극 공연 지도를 위한 컨설팅 장학에 관한 연구가 활성화되어 교사들이 학생들을 지도하는 데 도움이 되는 방법이나 평가 등에 관한 논의가 풍성해지길 기대한다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the case of the 6th grade of J Elementary School in Seoul, believing that a consulting scholarship is appropriate as a way to help teachers guide theatrical performances. The schedule for investigating the case began in March 2018 and ended in December of the same year. As a result, consultative arts procedures for the guidance of theatrical performances included: (1) the selection of excellent professional consultants, (2) the training of how to direct theatrical performances, (3) the scheduling and intermediate inspection of theatrical performances, and (4) the acquisition and establishment of the ability to direct theatrical performance, and the introduction and role of play understanding and the establishment of play in the drama teaching of drama from the play to the play. In an assessment of the consultant scholarship for theater performance guidance itself, the play produced by the first students was successful, with no major problems in the macro, and the message they wanted to convey was clear, and the second participants experienced difficult and annoying feelings while preparing for the performance, but working together developed a strong understanding and sense of community and confidence in each other, and finally teachers responded that among the consultants advice was impressive and many scholarship. The study, which analyzes the case of consulting scholarship at J Elementary School in Seoul, is a single case and cannot be generalized, but it is meaningful that it laid the foundation for a better consulting career. We hope that research on consulting scholarship for theater performance will be activated in the future, and that there will be a lot of discussions on how to help teachers guide their students.
