<몽유도원도(夢遊桃源圖)> 권축의 시·서·화 연구 - 심미의식을 중심으로 -

A Study on the Poems, Calligraphy and Paintings of Mongyudowon - Focused on the Aesthetic Consciousness

조선전기를 대표하는 회화인〈몽유도원도(夢遊桃源圖)〉권축(卷軸)에는 당대 최고의 시(詩)와 서(書)와 화(畵)가 집약되어 있다. 1447년 안평대군 이용(安平大君李瑢, 1418-1453)의 문화적 이상에 의해 제작된「몽유도원도 제찬시문(夢遊桃源 圖 題讚詩文)」과〈몽유도원도〉는 15세기 조선의 시대정신과 심미의식을 오롯이 보여준다. 이용의 命에 따라 당대 최고의 화가인 안견(安堅, ?-?)이 그린〈몽유도원도〉는 이용의 꿈을 그린 것이다. 그리고 이용의 請에 의해 당대 최고의 문사들이 자필로 쓴 21편의 찬시인「몽유도원도 제찬시문」은 이용의 현실을 보여준 것이다. 이용의 뜻에 따라 당대의 시대정신과 심미의식을 온전히 보여주는〈몽유도원도〉 권축은 유가적 시언지(詩言志)와 노장적 시연정(詩緣情)이 서로 조화를 이루며 시서화 일률의 아름다움을 보여준다. 그동안「몽유도원도 제찬시문」과〈몽유도원도〉에 대한 연구는 부단하게 이루어져 왔으나, 주로 각각의 의미로 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 20m의 대규모 서화합벽인〈몽유도원도〉권축을 제대로 이해하기 위해서는 시·서·화가 함께 논의 되는 것이 필요하다고 생각된다. 이에 본고는 이용의 출사관과 심미의식을 여실히 보여주는 〈몽유도원도〉권축의 시·서·화에 대한 다각적인 탐구를 통해 당대의 심미의식을 통합적으로 논의하고자 한다.

The best poems, calligraphy and paintings of the time are integrated in the <Mongyudo wondo>, a representative painting of the early Joseon dynasty. In 1447, the「Mongyudowo ndo Jechansimun」and the <Mongyudowondo(Painting of the Dream Journey to the Peach Blossom Land)> created by the cultural ideals of Prince Anpyeong(安平大君李瑢, 1418-14 53) show the spirit of the time and the aesthetic consciousness of the 15th century of Jos eon dynasty. According to the order of Prince Anpyeong, An Gyeon(?-?), the best painter of the time, painted the <Mongyudowondo>. It was not only a painting but also the dream of Prince Anpyeong. In addition, the「Mongyudowondo Jechansimun」, the 21 admiring poe ms written by the greatest literati of the time in response to the request of Prince Anpyeo ng, showed the reality of Prince Anpyeong. The <Mongyudowondo>, which shows the spirit of the time and aesthetic consciousness according to the wishes of Prince Anpyeong, harmonizes the Confucian thought that poetry reflects the will(詩言志) and the Taoist thought that poetry expresses the emotions(詩緣情) and shows the beauty of the union of poetry, calligraphy and paintings. In the meantime, the studies on the「Mongyudowondo Jechansimun」and the <Mongyudowondo> have be en done steadily but only in the respective meaning. However, it is necessary to discuss p oetry, calligraphy and paintings together in order to properly understand the <Mongyudowo ndo>, a 20m large scale wall of calligraphy and paintings. Thus, this paper intends to discuss the aesthetic consciousness of the time in a compre hensive way by investigating the poems, calligraphy and paintings of the <Mongyudowondo>, which shows Prince Anpyeong’s view of government service and his aesthetic consciou sness.
