≪예림(藝林)≫ 수록 영물시(詠物詩) 연구

A Study on Yeongmulsi[詠物詩] of Yerim[藝林]

편찬자와 편찬 시기를 알 수 없는 한문 시문집 ≪예림(藝林)≫에는 작자 미상의 한시가 77편 수록되어 있다. 작자를 확인할 수 있는 경우, 유명한 시인의 작품들 이 대부분인 것으로 보아 수작(秀作)이라 판단되는 것들을 골라 모은 책자로 보인다. 이는 ≪예림≫에 수록된 작자 미상의 작품들 또한 연구 대상으로서의 가치를 지니고 있다는 증거가 된다. 이에 본고에서는 ≪예림≫에 실린 작자 미상의 영물시(詠物詩)에 나타난 내용과 표현의 특징을 살펴보고자 한다. ≪예림≫의 영물시는 두 종류로 나누어볼 수 있다. 첫 번째는 사물에 대한 자세한 관조와 그에 따른 묘사로 이루어진 영물시이다. 이들 작품에는 새로운 시각과 기발한 표현이 두드러진다. 두 번째는 사물의 속성을 인간사(人間事)와 결부시킨 영물시이다. 이들 작품에는 세상과 인간에 대한 성찰을 바탕으로 한 우의(寓意)의 성격이 잘 드러난다.

The book, Yerim[藝林, the forest of art] which does not know the date of editing and writing, contains some 70 poems of unknown origin. In case which the author can be identified, most of the works in Yerim appear to be famous poets’ that are considered masterpieces. This proves that the works of the unknown authors contained in Yerim have value as the subject of the study. In this paper, we will take a look at the contents and characteristics of expression of yeongmulsi [詠物詩, poetry on object] in Yerim. There are two kinds of yeongmulsi in Yerim. The first is comprised of detailed interventions and the subsequent descriptions of the object. These works stand out from new perspectives and ingenious expressions. The second is revealing the nature of things, and implying wisdom of human life. These works show the nature of allegory based on the reflection of the world and humans.
