광주․전남지역 영양교사의 직무만족도에 관한 연구

A Study on the Job Satisfaction of Nutrition Teacher in Gwangju and Jeonnam

The purpose of this study was to provide basic resources to find the level of job satisfaction of nutrition teacher in order to development of the profession and efficient education. 119 out of 173 nutrition teachers who are employed in the public schools in Gwangju and Jeonnam province took part in the survey. The job satisfaction degree of nutrition teacher is, on the whole, represented as to be average condition(2.88). Teachers show to be satisfied with the professional growth (3.31), work environment (3.21), compensation (2.92), duties (2.84) and school administrative system (2.84), recognized position (2.79) and interpersonal relations (2.67) in that order. On interpersonal relations factor, the job satisfaction degree was low in the factors of ‘school administrators (2.37) . On duties factor, ‘food service management (2.08) showed low level of satisfaction. ‘supervision (2.47) have a low satisfaction with their school administrative system factor. In the job satisfaction according to general characteristics of nutrition teachers, the interpersonal relations factor showed significant differences by the age (p<.05), level of education (p<.05), career (p<.01) and working place (p<.05). The duties factor showed significant differences by feeding place (p<.01). The recognized position factor showed significant differences by the age (p<.01), working place (p<.01). The professional growth factor, the work environment factor, the compensation factor, the school administrative system factor didn t show significant differences.
