중학교 기술·가정교과서의 ‘소비생활’ 영역 내용 분석

The Analyses of Contents of ‘Consumer Life’ area in Technology・Home

The purposes of this study were to analyze the contents of Consumer life area of home economics textbooks for the middle school students. To achieve the purposes of this study, 24 「Technology․Home Economics I․II」 textbooks for middle school were analyzed based on the criteria for ‘Consumer life area. The results were as follows. Analyzing the ‘Consumer Life’ area in the 2009 revised Technology․Home Economics textbooks for middle school based on the criteria of analysis for ‘Consumer Life’ area developed for this study showed that because the contents of chapters in Technology․Home Economics textbooks for middle school were composed according to the same curriculum, the difference of contents among publishers was not significant, and the context and content elements of chapters were alike. The 2009 revised Technology․Home Economics textbooks for middle school showed the contents of almost all the 「detail contents」. Contents that were related to all 「detail contents」 in the criteria of analysis were represented in various forms of text, pictures, supplement, and advanced materials. The detail contents for the content element ‘consumer role’ were stated most frequently. The detail content that was not commonly found in secondary Technology․Home Economics textbooks was the detail element ‘life cycle and financial design’ of content element ‘consumer decision making’. They focused on the 「content elements」 of ‘rational decision making process of purchasing’ and ‘consumer problems and solutions’, and although the order to state the contents slightly differed depending on the types of textbook, the contents about ‘sustainable clothing, food, housing, and consumer life’ were commonly included.
