한국인 남성과 결혼한 중국한족 이주여성의 부부갈등에 관한 연구

A Study on the Conflicts of Han Chinese Migrant Women and Their Korean Husbands

This study divides the variables that affect the conflicts between Korean husband and Han Chinese migrant wives into sociodemographic variables, marriage process variable, communication variable, and housework share variable, and view the influence of such variable on the conflict. To carry out these processes, the Han Chinese migrant women were chosen as research participants and 237 questionnaire copies were used for the final analysis, excluding unreliable responses. The results of this study are as follows. First, the conflicts between Han Chinese immigrant women and their husbands showed an average of 2.27 points(range 1~5). The communication average points were 3.72, which means that their communication with their husbands were relatively efficient. Housework share marked 3.13 points(range 1~5), showing that sharing housework between the Han Chinese migrant women and their husbands was at a median rate. Second, according to the examination on the conflicts and the comparative effects of the related variables, the reason of marriage and the consistency of before-marriage information and reality under the marriage process, communication variables, and house chores share variables showed significant influence on the conflicts. In the result, their influence on the conflicts were ranked in the order of: first, communication, second, marriage process(reason of marriage and consistency of before-marriage information and after-marriage reality), and third, housework share. Along with major finding of the study, implications for social work practice were also discussed.
