전남지역 일부 대학생들의 커피 선호도 조사

A Study on the Preference of Coffee in Some University Students of the Jeonnam Area

This study assesses the preference of coffee in some university students of Jeonnam area using a survey questionnaire. 745 subjects were surveyed. The results of this study are summarized as follows. Of the survey respondents 48.6% were boys and 51.4% were girls. The preference of coffee was not significantly different by gender and age. The preference of coffee was high when parents income level was low, and their liking was lower when they were high. In the favorite temperature of coffee, girls preferred cold and cool coffee, while boys preferred warm coffee and there was a significant difference(p<0.05) by gender. The higher the income level of the parents, the better the cold coffee, the lower the income level, the opposite is true. The knowledge of coffee was significantly(p <0.05) higher in girls than boys. The higher the income level of parents and monthly pocket money of students, the higher the knowledge of coffee. In the preferences for coffee types, espresso was the highest at 43.6%, followed by canned coffee at 17.6% and Americano at 13.6%. The boys liked espresso the most, followed by canned coffee, americano, cappuccino, and caf&eacute; latte, on the other hand, the girls most liked espresso, followed by canned coffee, instant coffee, americano, and caf&eacute; latte. In general, the daily intake of coffee was the highest at 40.2% for less than 1 cup, 26.6% for do not drink, and 17.9% for 1 cup in order. The results of this study showed that the factors with coffee are related to gender, age, and economic level, which will help to establish a marketing strategy.
