This study is a case study on PCK development of prospective Home Economics teachers using CoRe during student teaching period. To accomplish the purpose of this study, CoRe, transcribed interviews, teaching-learning plans, student work-sheets, and video-recording materials were collected from 4 prospective Home Economics teachers. The analysis results were as follows. First, as for knowledge of curriculum and contents, this research participants perceived Home Economics should be related to students’ real lives. Advisors corrected the participants’ wrong concepts that were presented through teaching-learning plans and their teaching practices. Second, as for knowledge of students’ understanding, the participants did not know their students’ prior knowledge, however, explore the ways to explain concepts difficult to students. Third, as for knowledge of instruction and representation, the participants were putting their efforts to have student-centered instruction, but they did not have enough knowledge of representation. It was shown that advisor’s teaching experiences were transported to the participants when they discuss CoRe. Forth, as for knowledge of context, advisor gave many tips to enhance professionalism of the participants when they discuss their CoRe. The CoRe is very useful to grasp and develop the prospective Home Economics teachers’ PCK.
